Odoo Essentials: Module 2/Filters & Groupings

By the end you will be able to:

• Distinguish Preset Filters vs Custom Filters and combine them (AND/OR) safely.
• Use common operators: is / is not / contains / does not contain / is one of / is not one of / is greater than / is less than / is between / is set / is not set.
• Apply Group By (single and multi‑level) and set date granularity (Day, Week, Month, Quarter, Year).
• Save searches in Favorites (name, Default, Share with all users) without breaking other users’ experience.
• Prepare reusable working views (e.g., “My tasks this week”), and clear filters/groupings when you’re done.
